Selena Gomez sparks anger for displaying ANKLES during visit to Abu Dhabi mosque

The pop starlet caused fury after posting a picture of herself flashing her ankle (left) while inside the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, which is strictly against visiting rules. Another image of the singer, along with fellow artists Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Cody Simpson and Shay Mitchell (bottom right) also provoked criticism for being disrespectful. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (top right) is among the most revered Islamic holy sites in the United Arab Emirates.
