A bomb ripped through the hub of a major transport
service used to be run by the Kano State government Kano Line. The explosion
happened today around 3.30 p.m.(Nigerian time), according to details
provided by eyewitnesses and confirmed by a high-level security source.

The sources said several people were killed by the blast which was followed by gunshots in the area.
An emergency service worker who spoke with SR said at
least 50 people have been killed while several others were injured. The
