Attack On APC Rally: Patience Jonathan Is A Woman Of Peace! Ateke Tom Defends First Lady

A former militant leader, Ateke Tom has asked politicians especially the opposition to stop pointing fingers at Patience Jonathan saying she was the soul behind the attack on APC rally in Okrika Local Government Area of Rives State, where she hails from.

A policeman was killed during the attack, so many APC supporters were injured and a Channels Television correspondent, Mr. Charles Eruka was also injured. But Mr Ateke says, Patience Jonathan is a peaceful woman and will never be involved in such. Here’s what he told Punch;

“Politicians are pointing accusing fingers; but they are all politicians. But what I am sure of is that the President’s wife can never be involved in the attack at Okrika.

“She is seen as the mother of the country and she hates violence and the shedding of blood. She can’t be involved in such an act and I disagree with those saying she is responsible for the attack on APC campaign ground.”
