Brusthom Ziamani, 19, was arrested in an east London street in August last year carrying a 12in knife (pictured), a hammer and a black flag in a rucksack, having earlier researched the location of army cadet bases in the south east of the capital. Ziamani was raised a Jehovah's Witness but converted to Islam early last year and in a letter to his parents, he railed against the West, spoke of his aims to 'remove British soldiers heads' and that he plans to 'kill every gay, every Shia and every lesbian'.
