Former Super Eagles striker, Daniel Amokachi, who is now assistant to
coach Stephen keshi, looks so young that many football fans still
believe he could still lace his boots for the national team in an
emergency situation.
But the truth is that the former Everton player is a father of a
grown up twins (two boys) who are matured enough to represent the
country any time soon.
The Amokachi's twins, Kalim and Nazim, on
Wednesday were at the Super Eagles'camp in Atlanta, Georgia to give
their support to the team ahead of early Thursday's morning friendly
match against Mexico. Before becoming assistant to Keshi, Amokachi managed Nigerian club Nasarawa United and later Enyimba of Aba.
In April 2007, he quit his role as assistant coach of the Nigeria national team.
On 10 April 2008 Amokachi was re-appointed to Nigeria's national team, the Super Eagles, as assistant coach to Shuaibu Amodu.
