No Peace Still Between Cecilia Ibru & Her Husband's Children.

Former Managing Director of Oceanic Bank, Dr. (Mrs.) Cecilia Ibru, is still smarting from the disgrace that led to her inglorious exit from the banking industry. Since her travails began, her children have been doing their best to get her back on social prominence, where she used to hold an enviable position.

However, some members of the Ibru family have vowed never to have anything to do with Cecilia. This group of family members is made up of her stepchildren from Elsie, the late first wife of Olorogun Michael Ibru, the patriarch of the family. Before now, it was a well-known fact that there was no love lost between Cecelia and this group of people.

According to TheElites, it was gathered that this group has nursed a grudge, which spanned many decades
against their step-mother, Cecilia. Some sources, privy to what brought about the misgiving within the Ibru family disclosed that they blame Cecelia for the crash of the marriage between Olorogun Ibru and their mother.

It was gathered that the late Elsie was somehow instrumental to Olorogun Michael’s breakthrough in business during the early years of their marriage. As his business empire expanded, Olorogun became the toast of ladies. It wasn’t long before he got caught in Cecilia’s dragnet.

Surprisingly, the Olorogun reportedly deserted his family and moved in with Cecilia. Crushed by this action, Elsie suffered a depression, which later developed to an ailment. This later led to her eventual death. The harrowing experience, which the lady was subjected to, on account of the desertion she suffered from her husband, was reported to have embittered her relatives. And this saw them transferring their bitterness towards Cecilia later in life.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   posted by Emanto Ngaloru  Feb 12, 2014.
