A final farewell to Philip Seymour Hoffman: Tragic actor's devastated family and friends say goodbye at New York funeral

                           Funeral wide Hoffman                                                                                                                                                                                                       A private funeral for the Oscar-winning actor (inset) was held for 400 people at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, on a bright but bitterly cold day in Manhattan. The actor's longtime partner Mimi O'Donnell and this three children Cooper, 10, Tallulah, 7 and Willa, 5 (picture right), led hundreds of mourners, including celebrities Cate Blanchett (top left) and Ethan Hawke (bottom left) into the Upper East Side church as fans gathered to pay tribute behind police barriers outside. 


Philip Seymour Hoffman, who fiercely protected his private life, was mourned behind closed doors today in an emotional farewell from his close-knit family and loyal Hollywood friends.
A private funeral for the Oscar-winning actor was held for 400 people at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, on a bright but bitterly cold day in Manhattan.
