Former Arsenal footballer Freddie Ljungberg marries Natalie Foster at London's Natural History Museum

                                                                                      

                  He was used to handling plenty of silverware during his footballing days.

But former Arsenal star Freddie Ljungberg has arguably now got his hands, or ring finger, on the most important piece of all after tying the knot to Natalie Foster on Saturday.

While they are no doubt looking to the future, the Swedish star, 37, and the brunette beauty, 26, got married at London's Natural History Museum.

Freddie looked extremely dapper in a black suit complete with matching bow tie on his big day, which was arranged by event organisers Banana Split. 

Natalie - who supports Tottenham Hotspur, the bitter rivals of his old club Arsenal - is the daughter of London taxi tycoon Daryl Foster and met him in 2007 while he was playing for West Ham.

She looked stunning in a white strapless dress on her big day.

Natalie accessorised her look with a few simple items of jewellery and she stood arm-in-arm with the former footballer.

The pair looked every inch a happy couple as they were seen holding onto one another while having their picture taken.

Freddie – who retired from football in August 2012 - took to Twitter on his big day to reveal to his followers that he had tied the knot.

He shared a picture of himself and Natalie which also featured a close-up of their wedding bands.

The star also captioned the image: 'Just married!'

Former footballers including ex-England captain Tony Adams were among the guests at the event.
