Dramatic moment a page boy collapsed while the Queen was still reading her speech as a concerned Charles and Camilla reached out to help
Charles Hope, Viscount Aithrie, fell to the ground as the Queen was the middle of the speech, prompting her to flinch, but continue reading it. A clearly concerned Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, instinctively reached out in shock to the boy, who was helped by other officials from Parliament and the Royal Household. Viscount Aithrie is a future Earl of Hopetoun and Marquess of Linlithgow. His magnificent ancestral seat is Hopetoun House near Edinburgh, one of Scotland's finest stately homes.
