Mourinho sees Man United suffer shock defeat as Vilhena's strike is enough for Van Bronckhorst's Feyenoord to take all three points

FEYENOORD 1-0 MANCHESTER UNITED BY CHRIS WHEELER IN ROTTERDAM: After admitting that Manchester United did not want to be in the Europa League, Jose Mourinho began his campaign in Europe's second tier competition with 1-0 defeat by Feyenoord in Rotterdam. The Portuguese made eight changes to the side that suffered derby defeat by Manchester City, including afirst start for Marcus Rashford this season, as United toiled during a lacklustre opening half. The Portuguese made a triple change in the second half, bringing on Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Memphis Depay and Ashley Young, but it was the hosts who took the lead when Tonny Vilhena produced a cool finish to inflict a second consecutive defeat on Mourinho's side.
