expensive Rolls Royces, Mercedes and Lamborghinis descend on London with their Middle-Eastern owners

Supercar season kicks off in Mayfair with Rolls Royce and Lamborghini

From a chrome Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (bottom left and right) to a silver Lamborghini Aventador (top left), Britain's supercar season is back. The stunning Arab-owned cars are among hundreds flown into London from the Middle East each summer. These vehicles from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, which also include a Rolls Royce (top right), were seen today in Mayfair. Parked outside The Dorchester, the vehicles are accompanied by wealthy Arabs fleeing the Middle East heat. The arrival has become a regular event, with rich Arabs trying to outdo each other with their modified cars. The owners often ship their cars ahead of the summer so they are here when they arrive in July and August. Other Arabs are happy to spend up to £40,000 to have their supercars packed up and put on a cargo plane.
