Arsenal have completed the signing of Shkodran Mustafi from Valencia in a deal worth up to £35million.
The
24-year-old German centre back becomes the Gunners' second signing of
the day following the arrival of Lucas Perez from Deportivo La Coruna
for £17m.
The
club's new arrivals take Arsenal's spending close to the £100m mark
this summer as they look to compete with the Manchester clubs and
Chelsea at the top of the Premier League.
