As captain of the Portugal team he'll be under immense pressure to lead his players to victory at the UEFA European Championship next week. 

So Cristiano Ronaldo undoubtedly deserved a break from the pitch as he soaked up the sun in Ibiza on Friday.

Seemingly helping him to de-stress and unwind, the 31-year-old footballer enjoyed the company of a curvaceous brunette, who danced with him aboard a luxury yacht.

Clad in a pair of minuscule striped swimming trunks, the Portuguese athlete showed off every inch of his gym-honed body, flaunting his muscular physique. 

Meanwhile, his female companion opted for a skimpy black bikini that showed off her incredible figure, putting her peachy posterior on full display. 

With her arms wrapped around his neck and the footballer's hand on her waist, the pair seemed to be in good spirits as they enjoyed a dance.

Before his sunset dance session Cristiano enjoyed a dip in the sea where he frolicked with friends on the high seas. 

Concealing his eyes beneath a pair of sunglasses, the star seemed to be enjoying taking a dip, waving his arms in the air and beaming broadly. 

And as he toweled off in the sunshine, he was yet again joined by his pretty companion, who chatted away with the star whilst topping up her tan.

Cristiano was no doubt grateful for the chance to let loose and enjoy himself before he has to jet to France for the UEFA Euro 2016.

High hopes have been given for the talented player who claimed yet another Champions League winners medal this season.

His side ran out victorious on penalties against city rivals Atlético Madrid at Milan's world famous San Siro stadium last month.

Following a 1-1 draw after extra time, the match went down to a penalty shootout, which saw Los Blancos (Real) seal their win thanks to Cristiano's textbook fifth spot-kick - the final and decisive shot.

He scored 51 goals in 48 Real games in all competitions last season, and will now be hopeful of netting for Portugal as they take to Group F at Euro 2016.

In their pool, Portugal will face Iceland, Austria and Hungary, with their first game against the Nordic island nation on June 14 at Saint-Etienne's Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.
