Rivers State former governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has organised a concert in
honour of President Muhammadu Buhari.The concert tagged
#NewNigeriaConcert is slated for today, Saturday May 30, 2015, in
Abuja.Amachi, who decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All
Progressives Congress after a dispute with the party, once said he
would have fled the country if Muhammadu Buhari did not win the

The former governor had constant running battles with the former first
lady, Patience Jonathan, over the affairs of state, while he was in
office.
Back in February, he accused Patience Jonathan of masterminding the attack on members and supporters of APC in Okrika.
Amaechi has always maintained that Buhari, is the best choice for Nigeria as president.
He specifically stated that Buhari would instil discipline and
uprightness on corrupt public officials in the country after he is sworn
in as president.
