Killer, Michael Adebowale Moved to Psychiatric Hospital after Claiming to 'Hear Voices'

One of the Woolwich killers, Micheal Adebowale, has been moved to a high-security psychiatric hospital after claiming to hear voices in his head.

MirrorUk reports that Michael Adebowale, 23, who hacked soldier, Lee Rigby to death, was transferred to Broadmoor Hospital after psychotic episodes. Adebowale was at South London’s Belmarsh Prison, where fellow attacker Michael Adebolajo, 29, is held. Both were found guilty of the May 2013 Woolwich murder. Adebolajo was given a whole-life term while Adebowale is serving a minimum of 45 years.   

Lee’s mother Lyn was told about the move the day after what would have been her son’s 27th birthday. She was assured the transfer would not affect his life sentence.

“All she wants is for justice to be done, and as long as it is she doesn’t have a problem with the move.”
