Legendary BBC sports presenter David Coleman dies aged 87 after a brief illness.

The veteran had almost 50 years of broadcasting experience, and appeared in iconic programmes Grandstand and A Question of Sport for decades. The presenter and commentator, who covered 11 Olympic Games, was today remembered as 'a giant in the sports broadcasting world' and 'an iconic and hugely respected figure'.
