Ex NFL Star Ray Rice & Wife Expecting Baby No 2, Two Years After Footage Showed Him Knocking Her Out In An Elevator

Former NFL star Ray Rice and his wife Janay, are expecting another baby. Janay revealed on her Instagram page that she was 21 weeks along, according to TMZ. A baby boy will be joining her, Rice and their 4-year-old daughter Rayven in September.

It was a happy bit of a news for the former Baltimore Ravens running back, who remains a free agent in the league two years after TMZ released video that showed him punching Janay, then his fiancee, in an elevator.

Rice, 29, was at first suspended from the NFL indefinitely after the footage showed him hitting her at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, and later dragging her unconscious body from the elevator.

He was initially only sidelined for two games by Commissioner Roger Gooddell, but was released from his $35 million contract with the Ravens after the footage surfaced in September 2014. Although he's been off the field for two years, Rice still trains five days a week at a gym in Stamford, Connecticut, prepared in case a call to training camp ever comes.
