The first image to emerge from inside the Bataclan theatre reveals the horrific aftermath of Friday's night terrorist attack in which 89 people attending a rock concert were killed. Bodies and debris litter the bloodstained hall (pictured left) where hundreds of people were watching a performance by U.S. rock band The Eagles of Death Metal. Footage of the moment the gunmen opened fire has also emerged - showing the band stopping midway through a song when the gunfire breaks out. The guitarist is then seen fleeing from the stage and the drummer taking cover behind his drumkit (circled right). It comes as survivors have described how the jihadists shouting 'Allahu Akbar' - God is great - started indiscriminately killing those who had crammed into the venue.
