Woman Who Was Due To Testify Against Her Husband Is Gunned Down In South Africa

A woman who was due to  testify against her husband as a State witness has been shot and killed as she left her home in Lesotho. Anna Matseliso Molise who had reported her husband to the police after making a gruesome finding was a key witness in the case against her husband.  She was offered witness protection but she let it down and police say they feared this will happen.
Her husband, Peter Frederiksen has been accused of storing 21pieces of female genitalia in his freezer. South African police said they found 21 pieces of women's genitalia, including from a 7-year-old girl in plastic bags in a freezer at his home.
Lt Gen Mthandazo Ntlemeza told news channel eNCA: 'We suspected that something might happen and we offered her witness protection but she refused. Despite this setback, we are committed to do all in our power to bring justice to all women who fell victim of the accused.

His arrest came after his wife told police he drugged her and cut off her genitalia while incapacitated.
