Madonna calls Kanye West a 'beautiful mess' as she offers rapper advice in new interview

Good advice: Madonna, shown with Kanye West last month at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, offered the rapper some advice on how to approach awards show in her Rolling Stone cover interview
She's had her own fair share of controversial moments.
But Madonna obviously feels she has learnt from her mistakes - and is ready to hand out some advice to Kanye West, be it wanted or not.
'Don't go to awards shows looking for justice,' the 56-year-old pop star said in her new Rolling Stone cover story, a reference to Kanye's history of onstage awards show antics.

'That's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Just go and have fun.
'I never get too engaged with who wins awards or not, because I don't honestly think it's that important,' she added.
Kanye, 37, followed Beck onstage last month at the Grammy Awards after the 44-year-old singer won Album Of The Year.

After the awards show Kanye blasted Beck for accepting the award, saying: 'Beck needs to respect artistry, he should have given his award to Beyoncé.'
Kanye also famously stormed the stage during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards while Taylor Swift was accepting her award for Best Female Video and took the microphone to proclaim that Beyoncé should have won.
'So that part of him I can't relate to,' Madonna told the magazine about Kanye's awards show behaviour.
'Like, what's the point of fighting for somebody to...like, ''This person should have got it?''...I think sometimes he takes things too seriously,' Madge said.
Kanye has since tweeted an apology to Beck and has made up with Taylor.

Madonna collaborated with Kanye for the song Illuminati on hew new album Rebel Heart coming out on Friday.
She said it was 'real hard' to describe him in a sentence and called him a 'brilliant madman'.
'He can't help himself. Like, he doesn't have the same filters other people have,' she continued.

'He has to blurt things out, he's always saying inappropriate stuff. But he also has brilliant ideas, if you can get him to pay attention long enough, working with him in the studio,' Madonna said.
The Into The Groove singer said Kanye would come and go and it drove her 'crazy' working with him at times, but was worth it at the end.
'I feel like the music business needs him, because everyone's become so politically correct, so safe,' Madonna said.

'I don't always agree with the things he says or does - I don't always like his music, even. But he's a beautiful mess. I love him,' she added.
The pop superstar will embark on an international tour in late August to support her new album Rebel Heart.
