Move over Britney! Neil Patrick Harris poses with TWO huge snakes around his neck.

                                         
He's best knowing for playing the loveable character Doogie Howser on How I Met Your Mother.
But in a risque new shoot for Vanity Fair, it looks as though Neil Patrick Harris is looking to go in a new direction now the show is over.
The 40-year-old actor showed off his taut torso in the shoot - by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz - whilst two huge snakes, that appeared to be pythons, rested on his shoulders and inside his leather trousers.

The pose was reminiscent of Britney Spears and her 2001 performance at the Video Music Awards,w here she danced with a python.
But while he may acting like a tough guy in the photos, the actor recently revealed that Cristin Milioti made him cry with her performance in the finale of How I Met Your Mother.
The sitcom is coming to an end after nine series at the end of March in the US and Neil - who plays ladies man Barney Stinson in the show - said the final scenes stirred strong emotions with him.
