SuitSupply ad campaign is accused of objectifying women as fully dressed men 'party' with topless models.

The affordable suit superstore SuitSupply has come under fire for its latest sexually-charged ad campaign, which has been accused of 'flagrantly objectifying women' in an attempt to sell products
The affordable suit superstore SuitSupply has come under fire for its latest sexually-charged ad campaign, which has been accused of 'flagrantly objectifying women' in an attempt to sell products.
The uncensored images show impeccably dressed men wearing the Dutch company's latest threads, while surrounded by scantily clad, or topless, women.

When employees from SuitSupply’s flagship New York store recently conducted an 'Ask Me Anything' online chat for a men’s fashion fashion forum, the response they got to the campaign was far from positive.

'In a marketing campaign targeted exclusively at men, there's a fully clothed guy surrounded by frolicking naked women. In what way are these women not being depicted as objects?' one user commented.

'Is there a plan to stray from the current oversexed marketing scheme? I've got to be completely honest and say that as good as your products may be I refuse to purchase from a company that decides to use [these] ad campaigns,' was another complaint.
Although visitors to SuitSupply’s website can choose to view censored or uncensored versions of the ad campaign's images, many customers believe they are offensive to a 'vast majority of the population.'

'SuitSupply needs to fire their sleazy-ass current PR firm; hire a new one; decide on a target audience and focus-group the hell out of a new campaign that doesn't offend the vast majority of the population,' one commenter explained.
Another likened the images to Tom Ford's famously erotic Gucci ad campaigns, but added that SuitSupply's images are 'without any of what makes Tom Ford cool or desirable'.
Another user wrote: 'Wow. More like douchebagsupply.'

SuitSupply, which sells off-the-rack options priced at $469, explained the ad campaign on its website.
'It’s time to cinch up your tie and loosen up your attitude, because Suitsupply’s spring/summer collection is here, and it’s tailor-made for a party,' the caption reads.
