Gurgling George meets the Australian Easter bunny: Excited prince is introduced to a bilby named in his honour at Sydney zoo

george at the bilby enclosure                          The eight-month old future king arrived at the site overlooking Sydney Harbour in the arms of his mother. He chuckled and pulled faces for the cameras before being taken to see the marsupial which has been named after him. George, like any baby, seemed very keen to get his hands on the bilby but despite several valiant attempts to reach over the enclosure wall, was unable to grab hold of him. The young prince was then given a toy bilby which he promptly threw on the floor, prompting William to say: 'He does like it, honestly'. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had attended an Easter Day church service this morning before collecting their son to go to the zoo. Kate had changed from a dove grey coat by Alexander McQueen into a yellow broderie anglaise dress.
