They are known for their no-holds-barred approach to dealing with family issues in front of the cameras.
So no doubt the forthcoming episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians will deal frankly with Khloe Kardashian's divorce to Lamar Odom.
But Radar report that Lamar is terrified he will portrayed badly in season nine of the show, which is due to premiere on 19 January.
'The last thing Lamar needs in his life is to be portrayed as a schmuck,' a source tells the publication.
'Khloe has assured him that it won’t be bad, but how can it not be? The end of the marriage is going to be Khloe’s main storyline next season and Lamar is afraid that his drug use and cheating will be addressed on the show.
'At the same time, he is trying to make a career comeback and he thinks this is going to hinder and hurt those efforts. He feels he’s going to be used to get ratings for the Kardashians.'
It would certainly come as a blow to Lamar, who appears to be doing his best to get his life on track.
The day after Khloe was living it up with her mother Kris Jenner as their Christmas Eve bash, Lamar was seen out looking happy and healthy playing basket ball.
Meanwhile Khloe was romantically linked to Matt Kemp recently, but the star has denied that she is moving on so quickly.
Radar recently reported that Khloe is in 'constant contact' with Lamar.
One insider told Radar: 'Khloe has been in constant contact with Lamar daily since filing for divorce ... she is making sure he is taking care of responsibilities with his DUI, and meeting with his trainer.
'It's definitely a mother-son type of relationship. There will always be a lot of love there between the two, but Khloe has definitely moved on.
'There are zero plans for the former couple to reconcile, and both are very amicable right now, which is a good sign for the divorce. It should be quick, and no drama.'
