E-X-P-O-S-E-D! Yoruba Media hypocrisy as Fashola's N610 million Bullet Proof Cars Arrives without Condemnation

                                                        The afront to journalism which is the Yoruba media machinery continues to shamelessly discard objectivity when reporting supposed misdeeds by politicians from other ethnic nationalities within the soon to expire contraption called Nigeria, while keeping mute when it comes to corruption perpetrated by Yoruba politicians.

Contrast the vitriolic coverage of Aviation Minister Stella Oduuah's purchase of bullet proof cars and the almost deafening silence from the same media quarters when their tribesman Alhaji Babatunde Fashola the Lagos State Governor imported foreign built bullet proof Range Rover cars costing twice as much as those allegedly bought by Stella Oduah.

The All Progressive Congress Governor Fashola's N610 million Bullet Proof cars arrived in Lagos a few days ago. The two Land Rover Bullet Proof Jeep bought by the Executive governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Fashola at the sum of N610 Million was photographed arriving at the corrupt country's sea port in Apapa, Lagos. In the picture, the supposedly progressive governor, can be seen showing off the multi-million naira state-of-the art designed car. 

This is not the first time that Yoruba owned and controlled media comprising of such notable names as AIT, Channels TV, The Punch Newspaper, Tribune, The Nation, Guardian Newspapers, Vanguard and many more has been found wanting or lacking in objectivity when it comes to the coverage of high crimes, corruption and misdemeanour perpetrated by Yoruba political leaders.

Obafemi Awolowo, MKO Abiola, Olusegun Obasanjo, Adisa Akinloye, Bola Ahmed Tinubu have at various times defrauded and stolen huge sums of money from public coffers yet Yoruba controlled media and publishing houses steadfastly refused to report these issues for fear of damaging the Yoruba political brand. 

A country without morals or conscience like Nigeria should not add to the woes of its unfortunate inhabitants by having media houses actively engaged in the subvertion of the ethics of journalism. Calling for the head of Stella Oduah and not that of Babatunde Fashola is double standards and reeks of tribal journalism of the worst kind. na so i hear ooooh.....
