The 39-year-old Giallorossi legend features in a bold design which has him celebrating a goal in front of Rome's iconic Colosseum.

Women Hauled Off Easyjet Flight By Police After 'Suicide Bomber' Joke Mid-Air

This is the dramatic moment two women were hauled off an EasyJet plane by Spanish police after one allegedly joked about being a suicide bomber.

EasyJet said the pair had behaved in a "disruptive manner" on the flight from Belfast to Barcelona and a fellow passenger claimed one had joked about being a bomber as she went to use the toilet.

A witness said one of the women had told cabin crew: "We are all here for a f****** party" after being asked to stop playing music from a speaker.

2016 Budget Will Be Operational In Few Days -Osinbajo

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said the 2016 budget would become operational in the next few days, an indication that the grey areas in the budget estimates may have been resolved and President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to assent to the appropriation bill soon.

Osinbajo, who disclosed this yesterday at The Platform, a non-denominational conference, sponsored by the Covenant Christian Centre in Abuja, said once the budget was assented to by Buhari, government would immediately go to work, completing power projects that were left uncompleted by the immediate past administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Edo State Deputy Governor Escapes Death As Gunmen Invade Apc Secretariat To Shoot At Him

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Dr. Pius Odubu, yesterday escaped death by the whiskers when gunmen shot at him. The incident happened at the secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Auchi as the deputy governor was receiving a delegation.

The attack took place a few minutes after Governor Adams Oshiomhole and Odubu left a party organised by Damian Lawani, representative of the Estako Central Constituency in the House of Assembly.

The gunmen reportedly invaded the secretariat and opened fire on the deputy governor and others at the meeting. Five persons were said to have been critically injured, including the Guard Commander of the Deputy Governor’s Police team who covered his boss during the invasion.
Six delegates and three security details attached to Odubu are said to be in critical conditions and receiving treatments at the moment.

Herdsmen from different parts of Nigeria have stated that nobody can stop them from grazing their cattle in any part of the country, especially in the south. They described such restriction as unconstitutional.

The nomads, who spoke to Sunday Punch under the auspices of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, dismissed the ultimatums given by different groups for the herdsmen to vacate the southern part of the country.

This is despite the fact that groups, including foremost Yoruba farmers’ pressure group and ethnic militia, Agbekoya Farmers Association of Nigeria in the South-West; the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (South-East); the Independent Peoples of Biafra (South-East); and some ex-Niger Delta militants in the South-South, stated their readiness to defend their territories should herdsmen attack their communities again.
