Samuel Eto'o looks set to extend his stay in the professional game after
joining Russian Premier League side Amkar on a short-term deal. The
35-year-old joins for an undisclosed fee from Antalyaspor, bringing an
end to an 18-month spell with the Turkish club and sees him join the
11th different club of his professional career. It will be the second
time Eto'o has played in the Russian top flight after his three-year
spell with Anzhi Makhachkala between 2011 and 2014, where he was a star
attraction for a side backed by oligarch Suleyman Kerimov.
