Ugandan police have arrested two youth activists attempting to campaign
for US presidential candidate Donald Trump at the American embassy in
the capital, Kampala.
A website reports that five Uganda Young Democrats attempted to storm the embassy.
The Trump supporters were told by police that they would not be allowed inside the embassy because they had not obtained permission, Chimp Report says.
"Trump in his manifesto said he would deal with long-serving African presidents including President Museveni. We had to show our solidarity with him,” Hakim Kizza, one of the members of the group, is quoted as saying. Eyah!
