Ronaldo Visits Boy Who Lost His Entire Family In Bomb Blast, But Adores Him (Photos)

An orphaned five-year-old boy has had his dream come true as he met Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo on his own personal tour of the Bernabeu.

Marcelo and Gareth Bale were among other players to take time out to meet Ahmed Dawabshah, whose parents and brother were killed in a firebomb attack in Palestine eight months ago.

Ahmed survived the attack, but was left with severe burns to 60 per cent of his body.

He fought for his life straight after the incident, and asked b'where is my mother?' upon awakening. Pictures of Ahmed in hospital wearing a Real Madrid shirt went viral following the attack in his home village of Duma.....

Officials at the Bernabeu were touched, and organised the trip along with the Palestinian embassy to Spain.

"Without doubt an unforgettable day, full of unique moments that little Ahmad will never forget," said a club spokesman.
Jibril Rajoub, president of the Palestinian Football Association, added:  "This is a superb humanitarian
gesture by Real Madrid, its administration and Cristiano Ronaldo, who are restoring hope for a child who lost his entire family.

"There is an unknown soldier in this initiative and that is Zinedine Zidane, who we warmly thank."

Ahmed's grandfather said: "He has just spent eight months in hospital. He is doing better, but a lot of time
and care is still needed for him to truly recover."

Nasser Dawabsha, the boy’s uncle, said Ahmed 'adores' Cristiano Ronaldo and had spent much of his time in hospital watching sports.
