Three South African miners have
been trapped underground in a mine since Friday. They were working above ground
when their metal container fell into a sinkhole and many of them escaped except
for three.
Their families, friends and
community members who are tired of waiting gathered outside Lily Gold Mine in
Barberton yesterday evening till late night praying for their safe return.
Sadly rescue teams have remained
"tight-lipped" about the status of the operation to save the men
since yesterday morning. The management of the mine have also not given an
update since about the same time.
