Jamie Vardy ended his one-game goal drought and Riyad Mahrez scored a stunning second goal as the Foxes beat Chelsea 2-0 at the King Power Stadium.

Vardy took advantage of some static Chelsea defending to finish a delicious right-wing cross from his Algerian teammate in the first half.
Mahrez then got on the scoresheet himself with a top-drawer finish.

Tricky footwork created a yard or two of space on the right-hand side before he curled his effort past the despairing dive of goalkeeper Thibault Courtois.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho rang the changes in the second half, replacing captain John Terry and going to a three-man defence.

Chelsea twice went close in the second half, Kasper Schmeichel saving with his legs while one-on-one with Diego Costa and Branislav Ivanovic somehow didn't score from two yards out with an open goal.

It was substitute Loic Remy who pulled one back, heading past Schmeichel from close range to score a consolation goal for the Blues, as Chelsea pressed in the second half.
Perhaps of more concern to the Blues though will be an injury to Eden Hazard, who was forced off in the first half after a coming-together with Vardy.
