Premier League - Paper Round: Gareth Bale says 'no' to £90m Man Utd move

Premier League - Paper Round: Gareth Bale says 'no' to £90m Man Utd move
                                                                 Gareth Bale.

Bale says ‘no’ to United: The Daily Star Sunday bring us the news that Gareth Bale “is not interested in swapping Real Madrid for Manchester United in the January transfer window.” United had been linked with a £90m world record move for the Wales star, who joined Madrid last summer for £86m, as team-mate Isco has been performing to a high standard and there have been suggestions a deal could be on the cards. However, the Star adds: “In addition to Bale's reluctance at the switch, the Champions League winners are also not willing to sell.”
Paper Round’s view: That last sentence tells you all you need to know: this is a total non-story. There’s no way Madrid will sell Bale, who has been largely fantastic, and why on earth would he want to leave the Champions League-winning club and forsake the chance to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo? Let’s hope this puts an end to these silly rumours.
