Diego Costa was fortunate to escape a red card as league leaders
Chelsea were held to a draw against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
The 26-year-old forward appeared to kick out at John O'Shea in the first
half, but escaped a caution, before being booked in the second for an
elbow on Wes Brown. Despite being held by Gus Poyet's excellent
Sunderland side, the Blues increased their lead at the top of the
Premier League to seven points, with second-placed Southampton set to
welcome Manchester City on Sunday.
