The members of Ondo State House of Assembly have elected their
first ever female speaker, Ms Jumoke Akindele. She emerged the first female Speaker of the state this
morning when she defeated her two other counterparts who are men in an open vote.
It will be recalled that the former speaker died February
this year. Big congrats to her.
