Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has been
sidelined through injury since he limped off against Bayern Munich last
month – but the £42.5million signing appears to be keeping himself
occupied away from the pitch.
Ozil
was spotted outside his London home on Tuesday brandishing an Arsenal
replica shirt complete with No 11 - the squad number designated to the
Germany international.
Speculation
is rife that Ozil has got his hands on the Gunners' home shirt for the
2014/15 season, despite the new design not having been revealed by the
club.
Twitter user @ArsenalEdits tweeted Sportsmail with two images of an Ozil shirt (below), which they claim is Puma's first home shirt of a new five-year, £150million deal.
'Mesut Ozil will be a big success at
Arsenal,' Lehmann told talkSPORT. 'You have to remember that every
player who has come from abroad needs to get used to the rhythm of the
Premier League.
'You don't
know how your body is going to react after the winter period - in no
other league is it so hard to play throughout the whole season. You get a
little break in Spain and Germany.
'It is his first season at Arsenal, but he is a fantastic player.'
