Meghan Markle's Dad, Says His 'Baby Looks Beautiful' As He Misses Royal Wedding

Meghan Markle's dad, who was not able to attend yesterday's wedding due to ill health, has reportedly said his 'baby looks beautiful'.

Celebrity magazine TMZ claims to have spoken to Thomas Markle Snr on the day his daughter wed Prince Harry in a lavish ceremony at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

He is reported to have said: "My baby looks beautiful and she looks very happy.

"I wish I were there and I wish them all my love and all happiness."

Thomas, 73, is reportedly in California, as he recovers from heart surgery.

The retired lighting engineer told TMZ watching the ceremony was "emotional and joyful."
