The Minister of State for Foreign
Affairs, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, has
congratulated the Governor-elect, Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, over his
victory on Saturday.
Obanikoro took to his Facebook
page this morning to write; ''I congratulate Akinwunmi Ambode as the governor
of Lagos State.''
It will be recalled that Obanikoro had also aimed to rule Lagos State but was defeated by Jimi Agbaje at their party's primaries, leaving Mr Agbaje to be Ambode's main contender.
