Judge Orders Temporary Forfeiture Of N1.5bn Ikoyi Properties Linked To Alison-Madueke

Justice Mojisola Olatoregun of the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court has granted a request by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for the temporary forfeiture two properties allegedly belonging to Diezani Alison-Madueke, the former Petroleum Minister.

The properties, valued at $4.7 million include Penthouse 21 building 5, Block C, 11th floor (Bella Vista Estate) Banana Island, Ikoyi, and Penthouse 22, Block B (Admiralty Estate) also in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The judge ruled that the properties be forfeited to the Federal Government pending the conclusion of EFCC’s investigation into the ownership of the properties which it reasonably believes were procured with proceeds of crime.

The British and the United States governments have warned their citizens of terrorist groups’ threat to carry out bomb attacks in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, during the Yuletide.

In its latest foreign travel advice to British nationals, made available to Sunday Punch, the country’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office stated that it would raise the terrorism threat alert in Nigeria during the festive periods.

Uti Nwachukwu has blown the trumpet! The model, tv host and actor says he won't even pretend acting is paying and pretend along, but he will rather be true to himself. Uti says acting doesn't pay as such and instead he prefers to stay true to his tv job and anchoring events which fetch him more. Speaking to Sunday Scoop Uti said;
