Olubunmi Etteh has dumped the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) for the All
progressive Congress (APC) in Osun state.
At a rally in Osun, Etteh told supporters that she decided to join APC because it is a party of progressives, noting that, its policies and agenda were people-oriented and people-focused.

will ban the importation of commodities such as rice and tomatoes that
can be produced in Nigeria if elected. Buhari said this while speaking
to members of the organized private sector in Lagos yesterday February

"How can Nigeria be importing virtually everything? How can we be importing even tomatoes? If I am elected, basic items like rice and tomatoes, which we have the capacity to produce, will be banned from being imported" he said

Buhari Is Running Away From Debates And Must Be Rejected Come Feb. 14- PDP
General Muhammadu Buhari has said he will not participate in
the debate organised by the Newspaper Proprietors Association of Nigeria, NPAN,
and Channels Television, after admitting at first that he will. The Peoples
Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation, through its spokesperson,
Femi Fani-Kayode, has condemned him and his party, saying they are merely
taking Nigerians for granted and they should be rejected at the polls come February
14.
Buhari has been condemning Jonathan during his presidential campaigns over
insurgents, now he has the opportunity of debating with him, but he Buhari is

Freedom Of Information: Civil Group Asks Finance Minister To Account For Alleged Missing N30tn, Or Face Court Action
A civil society
group, Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP), on
Monday sent a Freedom of Information (FOI) law request to the Minister
of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, urging her to “urgently provide
information about spending of the alleged missing N30tn, which
represents some accruable income to the Federal Government in the past
four years.”
SERAP’s request followed the disclosure by the former Governor of the
Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo that over
N30tn was missing, stolen, or simply mismanaged

According to reports, R. Kelly was 'allegedly' kidnapped, beaten up and
urinated on by a group of goons at Gulf Port MS over the weekend for
collecting about $50k to sing at a club in Gulfport and then refusing to

refused, thugs attacked both R.Kelly and his security and even stole his
chain. Now they are claiming the whole thing was filmed and have
threatened to release the video footage if R.Kelly doesn't return the

Missing $20bn: GEJ receives Forensic Audit Report on Finances of the NNPC (photos)
President Jonathan today received the forensic audit
report on the finances of the NNPC which was launched after former CBN
governor, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi raised alarm over $20 billion
missing from the NNPC coffers. The report was presented by Price Water
Cooper’s country senior partner, Uyi Akpala and the Risk and Quality
