SAD: British Woman Sentenced To 20 Years In Iran For Facebook Comment

A British woman has reportedly been sentenced to 20 years in a hellhole Iranian prison for posting comments on Facebook allegedly criticising the country’s leadership.

Roya Nobakht, 47, from Stockport, Greater Manchester, was arrested last October when she was visiting the south-western city of Shiraz.

She was accused of gathering crowds, putting national security at risk and insulting Islam after criticising former Iranian supreme leader the Ayatollah Khomeini on the social media site.

Nigerian Agent Caught On Camera Charging To Fix Matches

Just few days after the National Crime Agency (NCA), looked into match-fixing allegations that surrounded the international friendly match between the Super Eagles and the Tartan Army of Scotland, Agent Henry Chukwuma Okoroji has been caught on camera claiming he could arrange a yellow card for more than £41,000 and a penalty for £81,000, during the 2014 World Cup games in Brazil to an undercover reporter of The Sun.

He told the reporter, he could fix matches and organise certain outcomes at the tournament which kicks off this month.

To convince the reporter he invited Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onzai to the meeting, though reports say Ogenyi isn’t involved in the scam) to confirm his authenticity.

Police are currently investigating the video.

A male nurse, Steve Ugo based overseas has been posting several pictures of a Nigerian designer on his Instagram page alleging that he was duped by him. He claimed he sent the designer, King_Unic the sum of $1000 to make him clothes. According to him, he didn’t get the clothes and instead King denied he ever collected a penny from him.

To prove he knows what he was saying, he posted the western union papers to buttress his point. But in another post when some commenters who knew King got involved, King said he never collected any money from him, and his case was laughable. That made Steve really upset and cursed him the more. A heartbreaking new video of the Nigerian schoolgirls kidnapped by Islamic extremists shows them bravely speaking out about their ordeal for the first time.

The footage, not released publicly but seen by The Mail on Sunday, was taken in a jungle clearing a month after their abduction.

More than 250 girls were taken in a raid on their school in Chibok, in Nigeria’s north-east, on April 14 by Boko Haram terrorists, who want to impose Sharia law on the country.

Football - Pele's son and former goalkeeper Edinho sentenced to 33 years in jail

                                                                                                                                                                       The 43-year-old, a retired footballer himself, will serve the sentence for laundering money raised for drug trafficking, the BBC has reported.
Edinho was first arrested back in 2005 and has served a sentence for drug trafficking offences, in addition to having links with a notorious drug dealer in the city of Santos.
The son of the great Pele played as a goalkeeper for his father’s old club Santos in the 1990s.
Edinho, who currently works as a goalkeeping coach at Santos, reportedly says that he is a drug addict but denies the trafficking charges levelled against him. Continue below....
