Photos: Stephanie Linus Steps Out In Stunning Vlisco Outfit At Vlisco Women’s Month Award Night

On Sunday 30th March 2014, Nollywood Stephanie Linus attended the Vlisco Women’s Month Award Night as the face of this year’s International Women’s Day campaign.

The Vlisco Women’s Month Award honours the outstanding achievements of West and Central African women by identifying and rewarding those who inspire others to realise their dreams. Adesuwa Onyenokwe, Publisher and Editor-In-Chief of TW Magazine won the Vlisco Women’s Month Award for Nigeria and was presented with her award during the event.

For the event, Stephanie stunned in a short printed Vlisco gown with silver embellishments designed by Mon Ami. She accessorized her outfit with silver earrings and pink heels. Other stars such as Waje and Joke Silva graced the event. Check out more pictures below.

Dayo Amusa has finally addressed the prolonged ‘k1 issue’ after a lot of people have speculated the actress is in a relationship with the fuji star and even desperately trying to get pregnant for him. But Dayo in a new interview with Encomium addressed the issue insisting what exists between them is a father and daughter relationship, and nothing more. Alleging the rumour started in 2011 when K1 played at her movie premiere in Lagos.

Tension In Southern Kaduna Over Alleged Interception Of Weapons

              

                              

A security operative as well as several residents of the violence-plagued southern Kaduna report an air of tension in their area after reports spread that some weapons had been intercepted from some suspects in transit. A security source in Kafanchan, headquarters of Jema'a local government area, told our correspondent that residents are in a state of agitation after some youths started demonstrating and burning tires on hearing that some armed suspects were picked up in their area.
A security source disclosed that he had heard that the suspects were apprehended at a military checkpoint near the offices of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) and the zonal office of the Ministry of Works and Transport in Kafanchan.

Snake disrupts NYSC passing-out parade in Zamfara.

                                                                                                                                                                       A snake on Tuesday disrupted the passing-out parade of the NYSC Batch “A” at the Orientation Camp at Tsafe in Zamfara, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
The snake, according to eyewitnesses, might have come from one of the dilapidated structures at the camp and could have been in search of shelter or food.
The eyewitnesses said the snake tried to make its way to the platform where special guests at the occasion were seated during the course of the ceremony.

Church Fights Klint Da Drunk Over N250,000 Show Fee As Friends Claim He Would Have Been Bigger If Not For Video Games

An Abuja based Church, Christos International Church is presently very bitter with comedian Klint Da Drunk for not showing up to anchor its empowerment programme after the church paid him N250,000 upfront. According to the church, Klint was given a part payment of N250,000 to anchor the said programme but failed to show up. The comedian later said the church gave him a wrong date of 23^rd of March, 2014, instead of the 22^nd of March, 2014 when the event held.
