32-year-old Sean Azzariti tells TMZ, he's storing his 3.5 grams of Bubba Kush, his truffle edible, and his $57 receipt from the Denver dispensary where he bought all the stuff because he plans to donate it to a museum.

"It's a piece of history, dude," Sean says.

Aso Rock Staff, Civil Servants Celebrate Xmas, New Year Without December Pay.

                                                              Top civil servants working at the State House, Aso Rock, Abuja had a bleak yuletide with members of their families, as they spent Christmas and the New Year without the payment of their December salary.

One of the affected staff who spoke to PREMIUM TIMES on Wednesday said this was the first time in several years that any administration in the country would fail to pay the staff working directly under the President their salary before Christmas and the New Year.

                              Nigeria on New Year’s Day returned to the United Nations Security Council, just two years after she last served as a member.

She is one of Africa’s two new members, the other being Chad. They will complete their current term on December 31, 2015. The third African member is Rwanda, which will complete her term at the end of this year.

                                             Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has described a statement alleged to have been made by the Amayanabo of Abonema, HRH Israel Bobmanuel, as an act of betrayal.

Bobmanuel, had reportedly expressed satisfaction with the actions taken so far by the Federal Government on the contentious Soku oil well.                                                                                                                    Amaechi who spoke on a live radio programme yesterday in Port Harcourt, said he had expected the traditional ruler to demand for the return of the oil wells when the Bayelsa State governor visited him in Abonema, Akuku Toru local government area.

Justice ministry to spend N181.3m on clothing in 2014.

                    According to a report by Punch, the Federal Ministry of Justice Headquarters will spend the sum of N181.3m on uniforms and other garments in 2014, according to the budget estimates submitted to the National Assembly by Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

A copy of the proposed budget of the headquarters of the justice ministry, which was obtained by a Punch correspondent, revealed that the sum of N181, 391,000 was allocated for “uniforms and other clothing” in 2014.

Another 2300 PDP Members Decamp To APC In Kaduna State.

                                                  Another 2300 members of PDP which also includes their chieftains in Kaduna have decamped to APC. Some of them said they have been there for years and nothing has changed. "We have the Vice President and Governor but nothing is happening in Kaduna State despite the loan being collected for the state. We don’t even know what they are using the loan for because they have nothing to show in the state," they said.


Former Chairman of PDP in the State and leader of PDP defectors, Alhaji Audi Yaro Makama also said; "We want our children to be proud of us some day and we cannot remain in a party that has failed to deliver the dividends of democracy to its citizens.
